Having enjoyed various sports over the years including hockey, athletics, skiing and triathlon, I appreciate the importance of keeping in match-fit condition.
I am a full time Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist, having gained my Level 5 Professional Diploma with The London School of Sports Massage, allowing me to use stretching and trigger point techniques in conjunction with deep massage. I also use fascial release and kinesiology taping where appropriate.
I don't do anything other than massage, which means I can really focus on providing the best possible treatment.
Through personal experience, I recognise the effectiveness of soft tissue therapy for treating and preventing non-sporting issues, e.g. from sitting at a desk all day or overdoing the gardening over the weekend!
I have worked with a range of people, from teachers and office workers to fun runners and world class triathletes. I am passionate about preventing and overcoming injuries, and highly enthusiastic about helping people of all ages to achieve their goals.
I am a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and I have a first aid qualification.
